EXAMINATION WORK

All classes include :

• Preparing students for performances including eisteddfods, plays, improvisation, public speaking and examination work. 

Examinations are offered from Beginners to Diploma levels conducted through the IMEB (International Music Examining Board).

The syllabus is comprehensive and caters for those interested academically or as a performer.

Study lists of literature contain classic writers as well as up-to-date contemporary studies.

From Grade 8 onwards students sit a written paper in addition to their practical examination. This includes components on plays, novels and poetry as well as the technical side of speech.

EQUIPMENT

Exam students need:

1 x 200 page exercise book

1 x additional A4 exercise book for written theory

Students will be advised in term one of required novels and plays.
